Membership Approval Policy
MBA membership consists of businesses, individuals, non-profits, and churches located in the Martin area. All potential new MBA members are presented to the board. If a business no located in Martin wishes to join, their application will be submitted to the MBA board for approval. The board will determine if there is a no contest to the membership and vote to approve or deny.

Your business will be listed on the MBA website with links to your business social platforms and website. Social networking and citizens of Martin can subscribe to your business. MBA is active on Facebook and Instagram. We share membership content and creative videos to promote our members.
Business Promotion
MBA offers members many opportunities to advertise their business through meeting sponsorship, event or program sponsorships, and the newsletter throughout the year. Businesses attending the meeting have the opportunity to share coordinate with other businesses. We also host Ribbon Cutting in coordination with the Weakley County Chamber of Commerce.
Education & Events
MBA events include regular breakfast & lunch meetings , lunch and learns, retail events, and volunteer opportunities. These are free with your membership.
New Business Contacts
Make new contacts and create opportunities to expand your business by meeting potential customers through MBA events, committee involvement, publications, and mailings.
Community Involvement
When you volunteer for MBA committees, you gain the opportunity to study community needs in-depth and develop creative solutions to the business community’s concerns. MBA committees offer you a chance to help shape the future of Martin.
Business Referrals
When asked to supply the names of businesses and services in our area, we promote exclusively MBA members. MBA business is conducted with MBA members.
Publications & Identification
As a member benefit, you receive the MBA monthly email newsletter. MBA communicates via email with its active members. Businesses can email their information or events to be shared on the MBA newsletter, Facebook, or Instagram!
Tax Deduction
Your investment in the MBA is deductible as a necessary business expense. Please verify with your accountant.
